Meet our Creator:

Deborah Davis has defied many odds in her life to emerge as the strong, dynamic individual she is today.  Born and raised on the island of Antigua, she was abandoned by her mother in childhood and raised by her grandmother and uncle. Her father who had emigrated to the United States in her infancy would die before she had a chance to know him.

As a pre-teen, Davis suffered sexual abuse at the hands of a family member and also a family friend. Fortunately for her, she was blessed with natural athletic abilities and became an avid tennis player.  Using her involvement in the sport to mask her pain and personal struggles, she steadily excelled over the years, winning many titles, at all levels, both locally and regionally. In fact, her real escape from the unfortunate circumstances of her youth would come when she secured an athletic (tennis) scholarship to attend university in the United States.  She returned home after her studies as a certified tennis professional and worked for a time as the tennis director for one of the island’s most prestigious resorts, before owning her own business.  Wishing to give back to her community, she also established a tennis clinic to benefit the island’s youth.

But as an athlete, tennis was far from Davis’ only passion.  She had also developed a love for golf and fervently immersed herself in the sport once she emigrated to the United States as a young adult. Determined to succeed despite hardships and setbacks, she managed to forge a professional career in golf and secured a position to compete on the LPGA Futures Tour. At the same time, this creative, business-minded entrepreneur immersed her heart, head and hands in a number of projects, spearheading many successful business ventures for companies and individuals alike.

But there were still more odds to defy when, in 2006, a health crisis resulted in multiple surgeries in May, November and December. Her faith in God, determination and resilience brought her through this ordeal. And in the end, at age forty-four, Davis feels that she has not only a story to tell, but a very important and inspirational message to impart.  Her newest venture, Defy all Odds, LLC is that message. It is a message born out of her desire to inspire every hurting woman everywhere to overcome and succeed.

Defy all Odds, LLC is a women’s apparel company founded to motivate and celebrate women with its messages of inspiration. For centuries, women of all races and nationalities have been defying odds to survive and to succeed in life. We recognize and applaud the single mothers, the battered, the abused, the neglected and all who have rallied through illness. May the message of this clothing line inspire you to continue to defy all odds.

To produce an affordable, high quality clothing line, bearing inspirational messages that motivate women of all ages and circumstances to confront and defeat life's challenges. We utilize the highest business and customer service practices while keeping abreast of industry trends.

Defy all Odds, LLC is committed to the growth and empowerment of women of all races, ages and nationalities. A percentage of our sales will be allocated for participation. We encourage all non- profit organizations that support women’s causes, to submit a request for application to receive financial support. After careful review of your application and approval by our advisory board, we will contact you. Please be advised that incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
